QUESTIONNAIRE

VTU – Bulgaria 2019 – with the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Prof. Dr. Daniela Tasevska

Dear All,

The aim of this questionnaire is to show the social interaction and the psychology of smile and to enable a sociopsychological analysis of the power of smile – a topic of scientific study I have been working on for many years. It is supposed to be a solid basis for creating and designing the smile, with the visions and hopes or complexes and frustrations of the patient, expressed in this questionnaire, which will be analyzed, studied and effected through modern techniques for designing the smile in cosmetic dentistry.

We have been constantly attacked by information coming from various sources and we must clearly distinguish between what is a doctor of dentistry and what is an aesthetic dentist, because it is not the same who will create your smile. The smile is not only a collection of prosthetic parameters, which are undoubtedly important in the analysis and production, but it also includes other areas, such as: art, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, and especially psychology which, through smile as the most dominant form of facial expression, makes either to express your soul or to cover it. Also, social interaction through facial expressions or gestures has always been a form of interpersonal communication. Therefore, the smile is your feature and a ticket for the future. The more you dominate with your smile, the happier and more successful you will be.

I would kindly ask you to take some time and complete the questionnaire. It is made in groups and covers issues of dental self-confidence, social impact, psychological influence and aesthetic concerns. Your personal data is protected and will not be posted in public, and the answers will be used as a basis for analysis and subject of research for my doctoral dissertation.

Yours truly,
Prim. Dr. Tome Tasevski
